1.         The County should make every effort to retrain existing industries.
2.         The County should work to utilize our natural resources—water, natural gas and electricity produced in the County, limestone, rock.
3.         The County should encourage the development of desalination of salt water produced by gas wells.
4.         The County should encourage industries that compliment or supplement existing industries.
5.         The County should work toward the establishment of a County Junior College system.
6.         The County should not grant tax abatement without an established County policy in place.
7.         The County should not make grants to industry from general revenue/budget sources.
8.         The County should be aware of environmental problems created by industry.
9.         The County should work to provide police and fire protection to industries outside of city limits.
10.       The County should work with city EDC’s to attract new industry.
11.       The County should strive to create the highest quality of life possible in the County.
12.       The County should be aware of tax advantages industry provides.
